Tears of Hope Movement Updates

At Tears of Hope, every step we take brings us closer to comforting and uplifting children who have experienced unimaginable hardships. Our mission is to create simple yet meaningful gifts that offer warmth and security—tangible reminders that these young souls are not forgotten. Each gift is a message of love and reassurance, letting them know that the world cares for them.

For Dr. Aimmee Kodachian, this mission is deeply personal. Having lived through war herself, she remembers the longing to comfort her younger brother during those dark times and wishing she could give him something as simple as a teddy bear to hold. This powerful memory drives her determination to ensure that no child facing the trauma of war feels alone. Through Tears of Hope, she’s working to provide the comfort she once wished she could give to her brother—and herself.

With the support of our growing partnerships—including Anya Verkhovskaya, Director of the Board and Treasurer of Be an Angel e.V., Board Member of Friends of Be an Angel and CEO of Class Experts Group—we are expanding our reach to touch even more lives. We are also partnering with several Armenian and Middle Eastern organizations (whose names will be announced soon) to carry out this mission where needed most.

As part of our efforts, we are excited to announce the creation and delivery of special comfort gifts for these children:

Customized Teddy Bears, Pillows, and Blankets

  • Partnering with a company in China to create comforting items that children can hold close.
  • Sample photos will be available by November 5.
  • Physical samples are expected between November 15-19.

Our Goal for 2024

  • Deliver two containers filled with these heartfelt gifts to children affected by war by the end of the year.

Maximizing Every Gift You Give

  • Working hard to secure the best prices, making each contribution go even further.

Collaborating with Nonprofits

  • Building partnerships with organizations in Ukraine and the Middle East.
  • Coordinating logistics to ensure these gifts reach children who need them the most.
